Sardinia

The ship will be moored in Cagliari, south on the island. Like so many other Mediterranean towns, Cagliari was also built around a fortress, the heart of the old town. Sardinia is known for having the clearest waters in the Mediterranean and you find long white beaches all over the island. If you arrive early, you will find it easy to get around either by renting a car, by bike or by bus or train.

Malaga

Malaga is known for sun and beautiful beaches. The city has a long history, it is actually one of the world’s oldest cities, founded in the 700’s. The Alcazaba fortress was built already in the 11th century. It is worth a visit. Picasso was born in Malaga, and you will find a Picasso museum here.

Sardinia

Norwegian flies directly to Olbia, north of Sardinia, but only in summer. Another option is to fly Ryanair from Torp to Marseilles and take a ferry from there to Sardinia. You can also travel to Sardinia by boat from France (Marseilles) and from Italy's mainland, both from Genoa and Civitavecchia. Between the neighboring island of Corsica and Sardinia there are many ferries every day. There is also a ferry connection to Palermo and Trapani in Sicily.
