This stage takes you from Kristiansand on the southern tip of Norway, and westward along the ‘Norwegian Riviera’ to Stavanger, gateway to the magnificent Lysefjord and home to Pulpit Rock, one of the world’s truly breath-taking viewpoints.
Arrive a day early to explore Norway’s southernmost city of Kristiansand, with its beautiful beaches, charming whitewashed old town, and famed wildlife and amusement parks.
After departure, you can settle into the unique rhythm of life at sea with your co-sailor colleagues.

Preikestolen

We make a stop in Lysefjorden where you can  hike up to Preikestolen ( The Pulpit Rock).
Taking you up to 604 metres above Lysefjord, this is one of Norway’s most famous mountain hikes.

The hike to Preikestolen is a total of eight kilometres and the round trip takes four hours.

This trip costs NOK 200 per person and must be prebooked.

Flørli Stairway

You can also choose to climb the Flørli Stairway. The stairway has 4.444 steps and is one of the longest wooden stairways in the world. At the top you will get a great view out of the Lysefjord and Preikestolen.

We have 20 seats avaialble for this trip.

This trip costs NOK 200 per person and must be prebooked.

The final leg of the voyage takes us to Stavanger, considered Europe’s oil and energy capital. You’ll have a day to explore Norway’s fourth largest city, with its beautiful fjords, mountains, and long, white beaches, not to mention the country’s best surfing conditions, along the beaches at Jæren.

Kristiansand Airport Kjevik is located 10 kilometers from Kristiansand city centre. You can arrive at Kjevik Airport by plane from major Norway cities. SAS, Widerøe and Norwegian have arrivals from Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.

There are direct international arrivals from Copenhagen, Amsterdam, London and Gdansk. You will find four car rental firms based at Kristiansand Airport Kjevik.

TO AND FROM KRISTIANSAND AIRPORT KJEVIK
Between Kristiansand and Kjevik the airport bus service consists of the regular bus service on line 35. The bus stop is just outside of the terminal. You will also find bussed to Lillesand, Grimstad, Arendal. Two taxi companies operates at Kristiansand airport, Kjevik. Stavanger

STAVANGER
BY TRAIN
There are regular train departures to Stavanger from Oslo via Kristiansand, and the journey takes about eight hours.

The local train between Stavanger and Egersund departs at least once every hour, providing easy access to the Jæren area.

BY PLANE
Stavanger has Norway’s second largest airport when it comes to international air traffic. To/from Stavanger International Airport Sola, there are direct flights from more than 60 destinations in Norway and abroad.

An airport shuttle bus links the airport and the city centre of Stavanger. It departs every 20 minutes, and travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
