In Lerwick you can join us for a sight-seeing trip.

You will get a panoramic view of the town of Lerwick, Shetland’s capital and most northerly town of the British Isles. Developing from the 1600’s on the rise of the fishing industry. Visit Scalloway the ancient capital with its ancient castle, which was build around 1600 by Earl Patrick Stewart. Visit the Scalloway Museum with its displays on ancient Shetland and the “Shetland bus” the name of a secret operation carried out by the resistance movement during World War II.


View the beauty of the Tingwall valley, learn about Norse heritage and visit Shetland’s largest woodlands at Kergord. At the Shetland Jewellery workshop you can see the production of handcrafted items with Celtic and Norse designs and purchase items in the shop.

We sail onward to picturesque Kristiansund, beautifully situated on four islands that form a unique harbour area facing the open ocean. Kristiansund is Norway`s clipfish capital, and the place to experience traditional bacalao and other delicious salted cod dishes.


Bergen is easily accessible from all over the world and when travelling to Bergen you have several options.

Fly direct to the city’s cultural events and combine them with the most beautiful scenery Norway has to offer – the Norwegian fjords. The airport bus runs every 15 minutes and you can buy tickets online in advance.

Bergen has a ferry connection to and from the Continent. Fjord Line sails to Denmark and the ferry docks within easy walking distance of the city center. You can also travel from Stavanger and Bergen with Fjord Line. .

Norway is ideal for round trips and tours with most of them including Bergen. If you are travelling to Bergen with your own car, all the roads leading to Bergen run through a fantastic landscape of fjords, mountains and waterfalls.

The Bergen Railway between Bergen and Oslo has been ranked as one of the greatest train journeys in the world. Many people take this train ride as part of Norway in a nutshell®, Norway’s most popular round trip.

Modern express boats with panoramic views take you up and down the coast and up the famous fjords – which are included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List of nature attractions. Express bus services also operate in virtually all directions. Enjoy the varied scenery on your way to Bergen.

Bergen is a turnaround port for the world famous Hurtigruten also called “The World’s Most Beautiful Sea Voyage”, which sails all the way up to the Russian border in the north. Spending a few days in Bergen either before or after your trip is a must.

From Stavanger to Bergen you can travel by express bus Kystbussen. The journey takes about 3 hours and 15 minutes and the bus leaves almost once an hour. Buy the ticket online before boarding and your ticket is valid on any departure on the selected day of departure.

Drive to Kristiansund on the E39 and Rv 70 from Bergen or Trondheim. We recommend that you driva via the Atlantic Road, which is one of Norway’s National Tourist Roads.

Kristiansund Airport Kvernberget is only 10 minutes by car from the centre of Kristiansund. There are daily departures to Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim.
