This has been quite a summer! It began in Oslo with aquavit, pirates and blues music in the Oslo fjord, and from there we set sails and headed south. The first voyage brought us to Kiel and the festivities of Kieler Woche. From there we sailed to Deilfzijl and later to Antwerp, where the first Tall Ships Race regatta kicked off. On the first leg we completely lost wind, but on the regatta from Lisbon to Cadiz we won second place in class A and the prize for most international crew with a total of 18 nationalities on board. The last Tall Ships Race regatta brought us to La Coruña, and via Le Havre we sailed to Blyth. From there we joined the North Sea Tall Ships regatta to Gothenburg, for which we won second place in class A. What an adventure it’s been!
We would like to thank everyone who has sailed with us this summer for making it a truly great one with many memorable moments. We love to receive photos from our trainees, and if you wonder what this summer has looked like through various camera lenses, you can see some photos on Facebook.
We hope to see you again next year!
